Callahan's Bowl-O-Rama — Establishment and bowling alley at 2143 Berlin Turnpike, Newington, Connecticut.

The bowling alley itself is nice and big. A little less flashy than more corporate places but fun nonetheless. The customer service is where this place is lacking. The guy who gave us shoes was rude and short with us. We shrugged it off and just decided to have fun anyways. We played two rounds and then we all decided we wanted to play a round with bumpers since none of us could really bowl well. My friend and I approached the counter to ask for bumpers and before we even opened our mouths to speak the guy rudely said "no" my friend said "excuse me? Sorry we were just wondering if we could have bumpers on our lane?" The guy again just rudely said no again with no further explanation. We sat back down and waited for another employee to go up to the desk. We asked him if bumpers weren't allowed or if this guy just didn't want to pull them up. He explained nicely that they had an age limit on the bumpers. Which is fine. The other guy eyeballed us the rest of the time we were there and was just generally rude.
